Excerpts from The Tombstone News

Let's start off with the disclaimer intelligently inserted by The Tombstone News. It reads as follows:

Editor's Note: The views presented on this page are the opinions of the author and are not those of The Tombstone News or it's (sic) staff. The Tombstone News is not responsible for the accuracy of statements made by those submitting their opinions.

[Name withheld] ... left that establishment along with another man (Bartram) drunker then (sic) drunk.

A full one hour later as we are standing in front of the Bird Cage Theater (sic) here comes [name withheld] and his drinking buddy (Bartram) again. Trying hard not to take notice of the intoxicated know it alls (sic), we kept on with our tour and the explanation of the historic building. Seems that our efforts to ignore these men just agitated them and inspired them to blast the group with even more profanity and insults.

This was not enough to deter these men on a mission and the other man (Bartram) with [name withheld] decided his two cents needed to be added. Getting in the face of the recognized business owner, the intoxicated man (Bartram) continued on with incoherent speech and then asked him just what business he owned in town. The reply he received was, "I own the Tombstone Times". Well for some reason this inebriated and quite vocal man (Bartram) offered a reply with pride that he was the web page designer for the City of Tombstone ... even giving out his name, Kelly K. Bartram. Unbelievable, here he was bragging about his position in the city and proudly giving out his name all while these business owners on the historic tour of their city had to have their experience interrupted by his (Bartram's) intoxicated stupidity!!!

These excerpts from an illiterate tirade were proudly written by Tricia Rawson, and published by The Tombstone News.

This letter to the editor was originally published in the February 17, 2006, issue of The Tombstone News, a weekly publication, in Volume 001, Issue 27.
